Effigies for Equality | Where Are The Women?

How is it possible that of the 22 statues of historical figures in Central Park, none are women? The absence of sculptures honoring real women in New York City reinforces the view that women have not made notable achievements to our society. 

We launched an experiential campaign that challenges the fact that there are no sculptures of historical women in Central Park. If Central Park doesn't erect statues of famous women, we'll put them there ourselves.
